Geoff Dittrich
Geoff’s practice focuses on providing strategic counsel to technology companies and high-growth ventures. His extensive transactional expertise includes leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A), venture capital financings, and strategic exits. He has advised hundreds of businesses from inception through exit, consistently helping clients maximize value at each critical stage.
Geoff’s deal-making acumen and strategic insight are regularly recognized, earning him accolades from Best Lawyers as a leading lawyer in venture capital.
Beyond his practice, Geoff serves as a director and advisor to several emerging companies and charitable organizations. He frequently speaks on venture capital, M&A, and technology law topics, and actively contributes to initiatives benefiting his local community.

David Kandestin
David advises early-stage companies, reporting issuers, and not for profits on securities, governance and general corporate matters. His legal experience is extensive and varied, having worked at national law firms, regional boutiques, a governance consultancy, and as in-house counsel for technology startups. David's approach emphasizes practical, risk-focused advice to help clients grow their business and thrive.
Born, educated and trained in Montreal, David hitched his wagons west in 2013. He speaks French and has travelled to more than 30 countries (top pick: Nepal).

Ogi Balaban
Ogi is a corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience advising start-ups and high-growth companies. He has deep expertise in complex commercial transactions, including licensing arrangements, joint ventures, and privacy compliance. Ogi also regularly advises on a wide variety of financing structures, including debt, equity, alternative financing methods, and corporate reorganizations.
Outside the office, Ogi enjoys staying active by playing basketball and tennis.
He is fluent in Serbo-Croatian.

Jenny Gu
With a background in science and commerce, Jenny has intentionally pursued a career in law focused on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
She primarily advises on venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. She provides strategic counsel to scaling businesses, especially during critical growth stages and crisis situations. Jenny also regularly assists clients with general corporate and commercial matters integral to their ongoing development and success.
Committed to her community, Jenny actively participates by serving on boards and committees of various local organizations.
Outside the office, Jenny enjoys kayak-camping, musicals, and swing dancing.

She has spent much of her life in New York, and is our secret weapon when it comes to U.S. trivia.

Her diverse experience working with various small businesses gives her deep insight into the unique challenges entrepreneurs face, and she is committed to providing practical, meaningful support to help them build successful ventures.
Actively involved in community initiatives, Aimee extends her service-oriented mindset to impactful projects both locally and internationally.

Carley Belfry
Carley is our Corporate Clerk, and manages all of our client's corporate records. She uses that focus to support on our financing and M&A transactions, ensuring that companies are well organized and up to date.
She loves spending time outdoors and adores her pet hedgehog.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Tina Tory
Tina is our Chief Financial Officer. She ensures that our firm is operating efficiently and responsibly. In addition to overseeing our internal accounting and finance functions, she also advises on our investment strategies as we pursue growth in impact.
In addition to her extensive experience as an accountant, Tina also serves on the board of New Hope Schools Society, an organization that develops tools and teaching for the improvement of the basic necessities of life, including food, clean water, health, security and shelter.
